The Role of Operational Coordinator

As an Operational Coordinator at SVA, you are the one who holds the whole together. Your main task is to create structure, facilitate collaboration within the team, and ensure that our internal processes and customer projects run according to plan. You act as the link between management and employees, ensuring that the ball keeps rolling.

Your main responsibilities:

• Management Support: You are part of our management group and contribute the operational perspective to our strategic decisions.
• Process Development: Take the lead in developing and documenting our internal working methods. You will also play a key role in specifying requirements and implementing our new case management system as well as other business systems.
• Team Support: Conduct regular check-in meetings with employees (in close collaboration with the CEO) to identify needs, challenges, and opportunities.
• Operational Follow-up: Support the team in prioritizing and distributing tasks within various customer projects. You follow up on deliveries and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
• Planning & Structure: Book and plan internal meetings, conferences, and joint activities.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a natural organizer and thrive being the engine that keeps the machinery running. You are a person who inspires trust, is confident in yourself, sets boundaries, and communicates clearly, and who enjoys working with people. Prior knowledge of the forestry industry is not required but is a plus. However, you must have a genuine interest in people, how companies grow, and digital systems/processes.

We believe you:

• Are a "doer" with the ability to see the big picture while keeping an eye on the details.
• Have experience in project coordination, operational responsibility, or similar roles where personnel, processes, and structure are central.
• Are curious about IT and digital tools and want to understand how they can create value in the business. You are also willing to challenge existing ideas about what is "right and wrong".
• Are a confident person who dares to ask questions, delegate, and remind when necessary.
• Have the ability to inspire your colleagues through order, clarity, and a positive attitude.
